The stars of the hit show ‘Duck Dynasty’ came together for their A&E holiday special and it wasn’t your typical Christmas. The Robertson’s put on the story of Jesus’ birth for their church but it turns out to be a lot of work!
Duck Dynasty made a splash during the Dec. 11 holiday special on A&E. The Robertson’s got together for their hour-long episode where they traveled back in time to Bethlehem. Willie Robertson actually plays Joseph!

The family puts on the Nativity story every year for their church but this year they had no idea that so many people would show up, it was a full house! They spent days rehearsing and it was hilarious seeing everyone in their costumes.
But if you thought preparing for the play was tough, you had to see them go Christmas shopping!

They head to Walmart to pick up some gifts for each other and Willie decides to get his brothers magic holiday eight balls. You know those things you shake that tell you yes or no? That’s what he wanted to buy a bunch of but his family convinces him to get bullets and beef jerky for everyone instead, great idea.
We’ve told you that Christmas means a lot to the family. Jessica recently spoke out about their holiday traditions: “A day or two before Thanksgiving, we go to a Christmas tree.”
Luckily, the play went off without a hitch and everyone remembered their lines! Do you wish you were getting bullets and beef jerky for Christmas?!
