Believe it or not, Hollywood is a whole lot smaller than you’d think. So when big stars like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez or Taylor Swift and Harry Styles break up, they’re bound to run into each other sooner or later — and that happened a shocking amount of times in 2013.
Harry Styles & Taylor Swift Bump Into Each Other
Taylor and Harry had their awkward moment on Aug. 25 after the MTV VMAs, a show during which Taylor was caught saying, “Shut the f**k up” when Harry was on stage.
The two former flames bumped into each other at the after-party at the SoHo Grand Hotel Club in Manhattan, and even took a picture together — though you’ll notice that they stayed as far apart as possible from each other.

But that wasn’t even the most awkward ex run-in this year — though Taylor was involved in the pinnacle of bizarre former flame interactions.
It all happened at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19 when Justin and Selena ran into each other backstage. That wasn’t really the awkward part — the Biebs and Selena were pretty cordial and she even kissed him on the cheek. The weird part was Taylor’s reaction.
As Selena planted a wet one on Justin, her BFF Taylor stuck her tongue out in disgust, emanating some super weird vibes all over the place. Because there’s nothing more awkward than seeing your ex-girlfriend, and then seeing her angry best friend sticking her tongue out at you, right?
