‘Fast & Furious 7′ â€" Real Reason The Movie Stopped Production

Paul’s death has stunned his ‘Fast & Furious’ co-stars and producers, who have halted production on the seventh installment because ‘no one can even think about getting into a car.’

Paul Walker‘s untimely and tragic death has made it impossible to go ahead and film scenes for Fast & Furious 7 because neither his co-stars nor the film’s producers can fathom the idea of a cast member being inside a race car, HollywoodLife.com has learned.

Paul, 40, had shot scenes for the new film but the project isn’t finished. And now, we’ve learned production of the movie has come to a complete stop while everyone tries to come to terms with Paul’s passing.

“No one can even think about getting into a car at the moment or process what happened to Paul,” a source told Us Weekly. The source also told the publication that Universal Studio executives are trying to determine whether they will include scenes that Paul had already filmed before his death.”

The Porsche Carrera GT Not Safe To Drive?

Paul’s passing has brought attention to the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that killed him and friend Roger Rodas on Nov. 30.

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Autoweek Magazine, an authority on race cars, says the vehicle was “notoriously difficult to handle,” even for professional drivers with years of experience. One driver went so far as to called the vehicle “scary,” the publication reported on Dec. 1.

In 2004, just prior to the Porsche Carrera GT going on sale, the company released a memo with a warning about the car, warning consumers that the vehicle was the closest thing to a race car they’d ever come out with, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
