Carrie took on the role of Gretl for the live remake of the 1965 hit film on Dec. 5 and the original Gretl didn’t have very kind words for the country music star.
Carrie Underwood will definitely be disappointed when she learns that Kym Karath, who played Gretl Von Trapp in the original The Sound of Music felt as though Carrie didn’t live up to the high expectations of fans and the former stars.

Kym did not hold back when taking to Twitter to express her thoughts throughout the film. First she said she was “disappointed,” then she called scenes “painful,” and then she slammed Carrie!
