‘Teen Wolf’ Trailer Reveals New Enemy & New Couple In Season 3B

The winter premiere of Teen Wolf is less than a month away — the first episode of season 3B airs Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. — but because MTV knows how much we all hate waiting, the network just released a full-length trailer! Are you ready to “lose your mind?”

The season 3B teasers released thus far have focused on Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and his apparent descent into absolute madness — and this full-length trailer is no exception. In fact, it seems like everyone is losing their mind!

‘Dark’ New Enemy Revealed

For starters, something is really creeping out the kids of Beacon Hills: Lydia (Holland Roden) says ”it came out of the dark,” Isaac (Daniel Sharman) adds that “it wore black,” and Scott (Tyler Posey) asks, “What was behind the mask?”

A strange voice, which sounds a lot like Stiles’ dad (Linden Ashby), says, “Darkness… absolute darkness.”

Another voice, who I believe to be Dr. Deaton, explains, “You’ve opened a door in your minds. … This kind of power is like a magnet, it will draw them here.”

Considering we see a shot of Stiles walking towards the Nemeton, I’m thinking that all this insanity is a result of what the kids went through at the end of season 3A. I mean, bringing yourself close to the brink of death is bound to have a few consequences, right?

Kissing & Kitsunes

Newbie Arden Cho, who plays the mysterious Kira, offers up an interesting clue about the big bad of season 3B. “Have you ever heard of a kitsune?” she asks, adding that it’s often called “the trickster spirit.”

The new trailer also features some pretty steamy hookups, including Scott and Kira; Allison and Isaac; and Stiles and Lydia. But hey, what would Teen Wolf be without some hot pairings?
