Blake Shelton‘s good fortune on The Voice has finally run out. The coach, who’s been responsible for the past three winners, had his final contestant eliminated Dec. 10, ending his chances of winning for the fourth year in a row. Though Blake is less-than-thrilled about the loss, host Carson Daly feels otherwise. In fact, he told HollywoodLife.com he’s “glad” Blake is out of the running!
“I’m glad he’s not winning!” Carson told us after the Dec. 10 taping! “F**k him! I thought it would have been good to have him have someone in the finale, but now I don’t. I’m glad that motherf****r has a final off! Seeing [Danielle Bradbery] and [Cassadee Pope] here tonight — they were on his team and are so good. They looked so beautiful, and they’re clearly going to be such successful artists. You know, he can have 2013 off.”
Obviously, Carson was joking, but Blake certainly wasn’t when we talked to him after his last contestant’s elimination.

“I’m bummed about it,” Blake told us. “I wanted it for [Cole Vosbury]! He’s just a good dude, you know what I mean? He’s just a great guy. But that’s not all of what it takes to win this thing. It’s something that none of us can figure out; Cassadee and Danielle have it, but it is a hard thing to figure out.”
As for which of the final three singers — Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin or Jacquie Lee – will end the season on top,
“If you were going to base it off this week, then I would say Tessanne right now,” Blake said. “[It] wouldn’t surprise me if she ended up winning!”
