And then there were three! The X Factor sadly said goodbye to one more act on the Dec. 12 episode of the Fox hit competition show, making this a less-than-happy episode. Following an exciting performance by Enrique Iglesias, this season’s final three acts were officially revealed!
‘The X Factor’: Restless Road Eliminated
Oh no! After a nail-biting episode, the act America chose to send home tonight was Restless Road. With the winner of the X Factor being revealed next week, fan bases were very intense, and this elimination was a very painful one. However, they took the elimination like champs and thanked their fans for all their support.
So this means that either Alex & Sierra, Jeff Gutt or Carlito Olivero will be named the winner next week!
The three remaining contestants also took the stage to perform songs celebrating their advancements to the final round. Carlito sang “Suavamente” which describes his personality perfectly! Alex & Sierra sang “Let Her Go” and blew the crowd away, as usual. Jeff sang an emotional version of “Open Arms,” making me think it’s going to be a tough choice for America next week!
Enrique Iglesias Performs On ‘The X Factor’
Fortunately, the episode wasn’t totally dominated by tears and goodbyes. The bright spot of the night came from Enrique, whose sexy dubstep performance of “Heart Attack†made the crowd go wild. He may not have ever been a contestant on the show, but he definitely has the “x†factor!Â
