‘X Factor’ Recap: Final 4 Acts Revealed After Dramatic Elimination

And then there were four! The X Factor sadly said goodbye to two more acts on the Dec. 5 episode of the Fox hit competition show, making this a less-than-happy episode. Following an exciting performance by Emblem3 and Little Mix, this season’s final four acts were officially revealed.

‘The X Factor’: Ellona Santiago & Rion Paige Eliminated

Yes, you read that right. After a nail-biting sing-off, the two acts American chose to send home tonight were Ellona Santiago and Rion Paige. We’re far in enough into the season that every act has developed its own intense fan base, so both of these eliminations were actually pretty painful.

These two acts were both terrific, and even if you think they left too early, we know they’ll find success yet!

Emblem3 & Little Mix Perform On ‘The X Factor’

Fortunately, the episode wasn’t totally dominated by tears and goodbyes. The bright spot of the night came from Emblem3, whose performance of “Just For One Day” reminded us the trio of hotties made it so far during the show’s second season. They may not have won, but they definitely have the “x” factor! Little Mix also stunned with their catchy song, “Move,” and rocked the stage.
