Christian Grey has big shoes to fill… and pants. So I’ve got to say I was relieved when the news broke that Jamie will be going full frontal for the film!
A man who has a Red Room of Pain would definitely take it all off, so I’m tipping my hat to Jamie Dornan who has made the brave decision. After Charlie Hunnam dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey, the producers had to search for the right replacement — and this proves that Jamie was the right choice.
Jamie Dornan: Good Call On Going Fully Naked
Jamie, 31, is about to be serious eye candy for all of us Fifty Shades of Grey fans. A source told Star mag that they won’t “turn it into a Disney movie,” and to do that, he’s decided to go full frontal.
Sure, in a lot of the books, Christian is in a suit or in those super sexy ripped jeans — especially in the Red Room of Pain.
However, to actually do the acts that are done (spoiler alert, there’s sex involved), it wouldn’t make any sense for Jamie to not show his goods on the screen.
If Jamie Didn’t Go All The Way, Going All The Way Scenes Wouldn’t Be Any Good
By ratings standards, a man’s parts can be shown in an R-rated movie under very specific terms.
While those may not be followed, the producers have no problem releasing two different versions — one rated R and one rated NC-17. The producer has already considered that a possibility.
Plus, let’s be honest — we know we’re going to see every bit of Anastasia Steele, so Dakota Johnson is obviously fine with that.
Ana is the submissive and shy one, so if she is baring it all, he should too. Plus, who doesn’t want to see that — you know you can’t resist.
