Katy Perry may love to rock a quirky look, (or two!), on stage, but she also knows how to dress conservative and chic for a morning show — and that’s exactly what she did in NYC on Dec. 17! The 29-year-old star, along with her boyfriend, John Mayer, appeared on Good Morning America to debut their new video together where the star selected a pink ensemble for the occasion.
Katy Perry’s ‘GMA’ Dress:
Katy was dressed appropriately for the chilly NYC day in a pink sweater dress — but although she dressed for the weather didn’t mean she opted for a drab look! The color of her dress was so refreshing on the cold day and the silhouette hugged her great figure perfectly. The long-sleeved, form-fitting frock was belted to add definition to Katy’s tiny waist, as she paired the ensemble with sheer tights and pumps. The frock also featured an embellished collar — it was so Katy!
Although she donned a more demure dress, the color and the attention to detailing with the collar was so consistent with the star’s personal sense of style — I love the way she let her fashion sense shine right through!
Katy Perry & John Mayer’s New Video:
The couple appeared on the morning show to debut the video of their new duet, “Who You Love,” which features the couple riding a mechanical bull. Along with Katy and John, real-life couples were cast for the production, which takes place in a desert. John admitted that working together actually taught them a lot about each other, while Katy weighed in on the significance of the mechanical bull in the video.
“Relationships are kind of like riding a bull,” Katy said on the morning show. “You hang on for dear life and sometimes you get a little buck here and there and sometimes you get things thrown at you but you get back on.”
Not only did Katy look great in her vibrant dress, but she was so happy to be there with John sharing her new video — and her smile was her best accessory!
