The singing mommy-to-be shared that she’s already picked out her baby’s name — but don’t expect it to be one of those ‘weird’ or ‘funny’ celeb names! When tossing out names she finds ridiculous, Kelly may have majorly dissed fellow musical great, Beyonce!
Kelly Clarkson told Ellen DeGeneres on the Dec. 6 episode of Ellen that she already has her baby-to-be’s name picked out — and though she swears no one will be able to guess it, she insisted it’s “not some weird famous person” name like Blue Jazz. That random name sounds a lot like Beyonce‘s daughter, Blue Ivy‘s name!

Kelly, 31, revealed that she’s eager to find out the sex of her baby-to-be, but she and Brandon already have the baby’s name picked out either way! “I just want to know [the sex], and it didn’t even matter because honestly, the name we picked is if it’s a boy or a girl. It’s the same name,” she told Ellen.
When Ellen tried to guess unisex names, Kelly shot down her efforts. “No, you won’t guess it. It’s like a random name,” she said. But then came the kicker! “It’s not like some weird famous person that’s gonna be like, Blue Jazz. It’s not gonna be like weird.”
Wait a minute, a celebrity name that starts with Blue? That sounds a lot like Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy!
Kelly told Ellen that “weird” celebrity names stick in her head, even though she doesn’t want them for her own child! ”You know how [famous] people … name their child. And see, all I’m thinking of are real celebrity baby names and I don’t want to insult anyone,” Kelly said. “But so I can’t think of anything funny but it will be like, Sweater Mic. And you know it’ll be weird. Don’t you think so? People name their kids weird names.”
Kelly Clarkson Reveals Horrible Morning Sickness
Kelly also told Ellen that she’s feeling more than a touch of morning sickness, and it lasts her all day.
“Oh my god, like it is so upsetting when I ask women because they’re like ‘oh … you’re going to love this,’ and I’m like ‘oh, were you sick the first?’ And they’re like, ‘no.’ And I want to like hit all of them with my car,” she told Ellen, before going into more graphic detail. “I vomit a good dozen times a day its like bad. Like, I vomited before coming out here. … Â I’m not even kidding it’s so bad. It’s so bad. I know, it’s like so gross.”
