Khloe Kardashian After Divorce — Why She Shouldn’t Do A New Reality Show
I know that the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is going to focus on the painful breakdown of your marriage, and even though you were no doubt good and ready to pull the plug on your union with Lamar, you still must be hurting and adjusting to the demise of that very important relationship.
In fact, you still love Lamar, sources have told HollywoodLife.com, and you would have stuck with the marriage if your husband had only started to admit that he had some serious problems. Khloe — after everything you’ve been through, you can’t possibly be ready to put yourself under any sort of new romance pressure.
We hear from sources that you have started to see Rihanna‘s ex, baseball player Matt Kemp, and that you like him, your mom Kris Jenner likes him, and that he’s been a great shoulder to cry on. But that doesn’t mean that you and Matt are in any way ready to get serious yet, even though it would be wonderful for you to have some friendly companionship and to have someone to have fun with again.
It must have been lonely to be struggling with Lamar’s problems for the past two years. You’ve shouldered a tremendous amount of stress, virtually on your own, and no doubt you’ve cried a tot of tears. But what you need now — especially after the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which will be a highly emotional experience — is to have a break from relationship drama.
Khloe Kardashian — You Should Keep Your Love Life To Yourself For Now
Your mom, who is your business manager, may be excited about creating a “Single & Searching for Love” reality show, to turn your marital misfortunes into major money — but isn’t it best to think about repairing your heart right now, not padding your wallet?
“Kris is going to turn Khloe’s marital misfortunes into a huge profit. She wants to produce a reality show based on Khloe’s new life as a single woman searching for love,” a friend of the Kardashian family tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. ”She thinks it’s a fantastic idea and wants to start taping as soon as possible to capture all of Khloe’s raw emotions.”
Khloe — do you honestly think you can handle having any more of your genuine raw emotions out there for everyone to see? And do you really think that filming your love life will somehow be a cathartic experience? Don’t you think subjecting yourself to the intensity of filming a show about trying to find Mr. Right could be a wrong for your mental state?
I don’t think that crawling into bed, pulling your covers over your head and hiding from the world is the right thing to do either. But you don’t seem like a girl who’s inclined to hide out after heartbreak. You’ve certainly bravely continued to work and go out throughout this tough time.
So why don’t you NOT give in to your mom, just relax, and enjoy whatever the state of your relationship with Matt is right now? Just keep your love life to yourself for a little while, and give yourself a chance to potentially find the right man who could be your life partner and the father of your children.
TV-produced love hasn’t exactly been a successful recipe for long-term romantic success anyway. Just ask any of the various Bachelors and Bachelorettes.
