Kim Kardashian looked smoking hot in her first post-baby bikini photos on the cover of Us Weekly, but it seems like the new mama doesn’t agree! Kim said in a new interview that she was caught off guard for the pics — taken just five months after welcoming her daughter North West — and thought they were only “okay.” Is that a major photo diss?
Kim Kardashian Dissing Post-Baby Bikini Pics?
Kim, 33, dished on how her hot bikini pics came to be! “We were in Miami for [Kanye West's] tour and my friends and I had a morning off and we’re like, ‘Let’s go to the beach,’” Kim told E! News at the 2013 Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment breakfast on Dec. 11, where she said she saw the cover shot for the first time.
“We got to the beach, we turn around and we see all this paparazzi. I was like, ‘Nope, we’re not going to the beach,’” Kim laughed about how the pictures came to be. “We walked in and I was like, ‘I don’t think I’m ready yet, I don’t want to be seen … I’m not bikini-ready yet!”
Kim explained that she hasn’t worked up the nerve to look at her entire photo spread. “I saw one photo,” Kim admitted. “It was OK. I think I still have about 10 pounds to go.”

Kim has made a big effort to get her body back into shape after having her daughter, and that has also meant transforming her diet — and that she’s proud of. ”I mean, as you get older and your body changes, you just can’t eat the way you used to,” she told E! of her decision to start the Atkins diet. “So I’m training myself and I work out. You know, I love pilates, I love running. Now that we’re on the road, just any gym in any hotel, I just go for it.”
Kim looks great — new mom or not! — and should be proud of her hard work!
