Not only did the star jet to Dallas to take in the new Métiers D’Art “Paris-Dallas” collection, but it looks like she’s also the face of the line! How cool is that?
Kristen Stewart just might be adding a new, high-fashion gig to her resume — as the new face of Chanel! The 23-year-old was spotted in the front row at Chanel’s Métiers D’Art “Paris-Dallas” show in Dallas, Texas at Dallas’ Fair Park on Dec. 10, where she took in the vintage, Americana-inspired collection from the front row — and those in attendance, (specifically Vogue Australia and Vogue Mexico), quickly began tweeting that Kristen was actually the muse, (and the face!), of the new line.

Although many outlets were in attendance, only very few shared the news — but the thought of Kristen fronting the line sent the Twittersphere into a frenzy! If the news is true, than the star has landed one of the most coveted gigs in fashion — and it couldn’t come at a more perfect time! Karl Lagerfeld was certainly inspired by Texas, and it was visible throughout the Americana-inspired collection which featured everything from fringe to denim and tweed. Come to think of it, it was the most KStew collection to date! While Kristen isn’t a major fixture in the front row at fashion week, we actually weren’t surprised to see her in Dallas — not only does she have a seriously stylish presence on the red carpet, but she has a great relationship with Karl! In fact, although she was going through a breakup she still turned up in Paris in July 2013 to take in the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week — and it’s all because of Karl!
Kristen’s close friend EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife why they get along so well. “Kristen is a huge fan of Mr. Lagerfeld and was honored to be invited to such an extraordinary fashion event. She loves his style and quirky sense of humor. He gets her and she loves him for that.”

The star looked cool and confident in separates from Chanel’s Spring 2014 collection, which consisted of wide-leg, high-waisted trousers and a crop top. Before taking in the show, she sat in a vintage car from the 50s with pal Dakota Fanning for a special screening of Karl’s film, The Return.
We’ve reached out to the fashion house and have yet to receive a comment — but we must admit, KStew and Chanel seem to be a match made in fashion heaven. Do you agree?
