Kristen Stewart, we can only imagine how hard it must be for you to turn down an invitation from Robert Pattinson to join him in London for the Christmas holidays.

Kristen, Rob left for his hometown on Dec. 3, and from there he’ll be heading to Jordan and Morocco to start filming his next movie, Queen of the Desert. That means you can’t see him for quite some time. That must be breaking your heart. After all, it hasn’t been that long since you and Rob started talking and seeing each other again.
And thankfully, things have been going well between you two since Rob finally reached out after months of radio silence. A source told HollywoodLife.com at the time that Rob had been missing you “desperately,” and that he had realized that none of the women he had been dating filled the hole in his heart.
You, for your part, never stopped loving Rob, another source told HollywoodLife.com. And you never even considered going out with another man after Rob dumped you. You just hoped that Rob would come to realize that what he had with you was so special, and he did.
However, winning Rob back hasn’t meant that you’ve also earned forgiveness and trust from those closest to Rob — mainly his two older, protective sisters, Lizzy and Victoria Pattinson.
Rob may be well on his way to re-committing to you — he even came to the “intimate” Thanksgiving feast you prepared — but his family is a tougher sell.
That’s why it probably wasn’t surprising to you when Rob didn’t ask you to spend the holidays with him, as you two have for the past three years.
Robert Pattinson’s Sisters Have Animosity Toward Kristen Stewart
Rob’s sisters “can’t stand Kristen,” a source told Life & Style, recently. “His family is terrified that he’ll never get away from her. They think she’s bad news.”
Nevertheless, once Rob was back in London, he clearly missed you and he called you to congratulate you on your upcoming film, Camp X-Ray, being selected for Sundance — lo and behold once you two chatted for awhile, and Rob invited you to come see him in London after all, a friend of yours told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“She was just so happy,” the friend revealed. But Kristen, you are so mature and thoughtful, you were able to see the bigger picture and we hear that you’ve decided not to go.
“Kristen would love to see Rob in London, but she doesn’t want to be the source of any tension between Rob and his sisters. She feels like she’s on good terms with Rob’s mom after all the cheating drama,” a friend told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“If things were different with the rest of his family, she would be there for Christmas, but she still has concerns,” the friend adds. “The last thing she wants is to bring ay drama whatsoever into Rob’s world.”
Kristen, that is so thoughtful and smart. You realize that if you did go to London while at least part of Rob’s family is not on board about it, then you’d only cause tension which could ignite an unnecessary fight between you and Rob. That is NOT what you need. Your renewed romance is still fragile and needs to be nurtured, not submitted to an unnecessary test.
Kristen Stewart: You’re Smart To Think Long-Term
Kristen — your strategy is best. Even though your heart is probably aching for Rob, you’ve learned how to live with missing him. You’ve already been through so much time without him. It’s better to stay at a distance, talk as much as possible by phone and Skype, and just let Rob miss you as much as you miss him.
In another year, if all goes well, wounds will have healed, Rob’s entire family will hopefully welcome you with open arms and you won’t be left behind at Christmas.
But by sacrificing your short term happiness now, you’re being thoughtful of Rob’s happiness by not forcing him to choose between you and his sisters.
He will ultimately appreciate it and so will his sisters. Right now, time is on YOUR side, Kristen. Rob will see that saying no to his invite is one more important step in proving your true love.
