Kristen attended an event for Patrick Dempsey’s wife, makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, on Dec. 5., and was pictured smiling at the party! But did she put on a happy face to mask any sadness about Rob leaving for London three days earlier?

Kristen Stewart was glad to support her makeup artist and friend Jillian Dempsey at her jewelry line launch at luxury shop Maxfield in LA. She even wore a bright orange leather jacket for the occasion! Looks like Kristen is keeping busy while Robert Pattinson‘s away, since she also partied with friends on Dec. 2 after her “intimate and sweet” Thanksgiving dinner with him.

“Kristen and her closest friends celebrated a friend’s birthday at Gjelina’s Dec. 2 in Venice,” a source close to Kristen told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They drank a lot of wine and shared a bunch of food. For dessert they had the gluten-free chocolate cake, and butterscotch pudding with salted caramel.”
