Kris Jenner Didn’t Want To Celebrate Thanksgiving With Lamar Odom’s Father
Lamar, 34, did not spend Thanksgiving with his wife, Khloe Kardashian, 29. Instead, he enjoyed a “quiet meal” with his father because Kris, 58, didn’t want to bring Joe into her home for the holiday.
“Both Lamar and Joe wanted to be there, but you know, the Kardashian’s don’t really feature Joe,” a source close to the Odom family told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. ”Joe wanted to be there, with Lamar and as a family, but Kris flat out said ‘no’ and that she ‘wants no part of Joe’ at her table.
However, Lamar understood that she was putting her foot down and didn’t put up a fight. “Lamar didn’t want any drama and Joe understood that and they both agreed it would be better just to have a quiet meal together,” our source says.
Lamar Odom And Joe Odom Hope To Celebrate With Kardashians For Future Holiday Gatherings
Despite Lamar’s father not being welcome in the Kardashian’s home, we’re told the two hope that Kris will be more inviting in the future.
“There are other holidays coming up and all the families will be together then,” the source adds. “Lamar and Joe both hope Kris is a forgiving woman and will see Joe in a better light.”
Although Khloe and Lamar aren’t on the best of terms, even after reportedly attending couples therapy, Khloe still understands Lamar choosing to eat with his dad. Only time will tell if Kris decides to forgive and forget!
