The Lostprophets lead singer was slapped with a 35-year prison sentence after he shockingly admitted to 13 counts of child sex abuse, including attempted rape of a baby. The convicted pedophile admitted to trying to ‘cross the line’ with young kids.
Ian Watkins was sentenced to 35 years in prison on Dec. 18 when he plead guilty to 13 separate child sex abuse offenses in Cardiff Crown Court in Wales – including sex acts with underage teenage fans, child pornography photographs and even performance of a sex act on a baby. The Welsh rocker was also caught on tape on several occasions using drugs and attempting to “teach” young children how to take drugs.

Ian, 36, was found guilty of being a “determined and committed pedophile,” in court, according to BBC News.
Ian blamed extensive drug use for his crimes, often not recalling the accused sex acts when they were brought up in the trial.
“I am satisfied that you are a deeply corrupting influence, you are highly manipulative, you are a sexual predator, you are dangerous,” Judge Roger John Royce said after the sentencing. “The public and, in particular, young females need protection from you.”
Two mothers of young children not identified by name were also sentenced to 14 and 17 years in prison, respectively, for being co-conspirators in the child sex abuse horror, for helping Ian arrange sexual meetings with kids.
Ian Watkins Called ‘Determined & Committed Pedophile’ In Court
Before he will be considered for release, Ian will have to serve at least two-thirds of his 35-year sentence behind bars at a British jail (29 years in prison at 6 years in police supervision), according to CNN. Law enforcement authorities are confident that they are putting away a dangerous and sick predator.
“The investigation uncovered the most disturbing child abuse evidence I have seen in my 28 years as a police officer,” investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Peter Doyle of the South Wales Police, said in a press statement.
