Nick Jonas met Olivia Culpo on June 16 at the Miss USA pageant, and now just six months later, he’s ready to take their relationship to the next step.

“Nick has told his family he wants to marry Olivia,” a family friend told Hollyscoop.com. “It would not surprise me if it happens over Christmas.”

That’s a huge step! However, we’re not actually surprised. At the 2013 Miss Universe pageant, she passed down her crown to Gabriela Isler, and admitted that she was starting a new chapter in her personal life too — with Nick, who was there to support her!

“To the very person special person who puts a smile on my face everyday, I can’t wait to start this new chapter with you,” she said. She even posted an adorable pic with her boyfriend backstage, writing “To the person who puts a smile on my face every day…”

Naturally, he responded with a tweet saying, “I got my eyes on you. You’re everything that I see.”

“He thinks that she is The One, and all of his family loves her. They were hesitant at first as Nick is their baby, but are now very supportive,” the source said.
