Paul Walker Was Set To Film Crucial ‘Fast & Furious 7′ Scenes Before Death

Before Paul’s life was tragically taken from him after a car accident on Nov. 30, he was scheduled to shoot key scenes for the next installment in the ‘Fast and the Furious’ series. Now, sources tell HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the studio — and the cast — isn’t sure of how they’ll move forward.

A source already confirmed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the makers of Fast & Furious 7 had already decided to go forward with the movie’s production in the wake of Paul Walker‘s tragic death on Nov. 30, as a way to honor him. But since Paul was set to film key scenes just days after when the accident occurred, according to TMZ, the production is now at a standstill.

Paul Walker’s Death: How It Affects ‘Fast & Furious 7′

“It really throws a loop in everything,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Every scene [with him] is important since obviously he is a main part of the film.”

The insider adds that major changes are going to have to be made to the the seventh installment in the Walker-led Fast series. “They have to change quite a lot of the film. They were going to have time off for the holidays but they will probably need more time to delay and figure everything out.”

Another source close to Universal Pictures — the studio behind Fast & Furious 7 – adds, “Universal has not heard anything (in regards to the film). Right now everyone is just in shock and extremely devastated and sad.”

‘Fast & Furious 7′ Production Going Forward

An extensive mourning period for everyone involved in the making of the Fast movies is certainly expected. But an insider seemed sure that once wounds started to heal, production will start up again — as a way to pay homage to Paul.

“It’s almost positive that the movie will still move forward in his honor,” the source told HollywoodLife.com. “Once people get back to work on Monday, there will be many meetings.”

We can’t imagine a Fast & Furious movie without Paul (besides Tokyo Drift, of course), but at the same time, finishing production on the seventh installment would be a great way to pay respects to the fallen ac
