Paul Walker always loved the ocean. So it’s fitting that, more than two weeks after his sudden and tragic death, his friends and family gathered on a Santa Barbara, Calif. beach to say their final goodbyes to the late actor.
Paul Walker‘s friends and family — including his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow Walker, and his Fast and the Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson – spent the day sharing memories and paying tribute to the beloved star during a beach memorial on Dec. 16. Meadow, who has inspired her family by staying strong after Paul’s death, seemed to be leaning on friends for comfort during the emotional tribute.

Those nearest and dearest to Paul — including his father, his daughter, his brother, and his Fast and the Furious co-star Tyrese – got together to celebrate the late actor’s life by enjoying a beautiful day at the beach in Santa Barbara, where Paul had been living before his death, TMZ reports.
Meadow and a group of friends took a stroll along the beach that her father once loved so much, and she seemed to be in good spirits at the memorial.
We think this was a wonderful way to honor Paul since we know how much he loved simple beach living.
Paul Walker’s Daughter Showed ‘Amazing’ Strength At His Funeral
At Paul’s funeral on Dec. 14, his friends and family turned what could have been a strictly sad day into a joyous occasion by setting aside their grief and celebrating the late actor’s life, a source who attended the funeral told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Perhaps the strongest and bravest of Paul’s loved ones that day was his daughter, Meadow.
“Everyone made sure to give time and speak to Meadow but she took things as best as you could imagine,” the source revealed. “She has amazing spirit and strength, and she really showed us all something amazing that day. The way she is dealing with things, especially that day, was beautiful.”
Paul would be so proud!
