Phil Robertson: ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Insults Muslims In Shocking Interview

Yikes! Phil Robertson has already made headlines for his homophobic and racist remarks in his recent ‘GQ’ profile, and now the ‘Duck Dynasty’ star is coming under fire for comparing Islam to Naziism.

Phil Robertson, the beloved patriarch of the Duck Dynasty clan, told GQ a number of things during his controversial tell-all profile â€" like, for example, that gay people can’t get into heaven, and black people were happier before the Civil Rights movement. Now, Phil has gotten into even more hot water by comparing Muslims to Nazis! Oh, Phil.

Phil Robertson: Thoughts On ‘No Jesus’ Societies

After sharing his thoughts on gays and black people, Phil delved into his opinions on religion when GQ asked about the Robertson family’s Bible study events, which have regularly attracted thousands of people.

“For the sake of the Gospel, it was worth it,” Phil said, referring to the family’s newfound lack of privacy. “All you have to do is look at any society where there is no Jesus. I’ll give you four: Nazis, no Jesus. Look at their record. Uh, Shintos? They started this thing in Pearl Harbor. Any Jesus among them? None. Communists? None. Islamists? Zero. That’s eighty years of ideologies that have popped up where no Jesus was allowed among those four groups. Just look at the records as far as murder goes among those four groups.”

Phil Robertson: Thoughts On Gays & Civil Rights

Of course, this wasn’t the only controversial statement from Phil’s interview. He also said that gays “won’t inherit the kingdom of God,” and that black people preferred pre-Civil Rights Movement life.

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once,” he said. “Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field … They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’â€"not a word!… Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

Phil’s representation has not responded to HollywoodLife.com‘s request for comment.
