While Robert Pattinson did call up Kristen Stewart and invite her to London so that they could spend Christmas together, she turned him down to avoid causing more tension with his family, a source close to her told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. In the new pic, he looks sad without her!

Yes, she was a lucky girl! However, we know that the real lucky girl is Kristen. The two are staying in touch while he’s in London for the holidays.
Rob actually extended the invite to Kristen after they spent a romantic intimate Thanksgiving together. However, Kristen knows that his family aren’t huge fans of her, so thought it would be better to let him spend it alone.

“Kristen would love to see Rob in London but she doesn’t want to be the source of any tension between Rob and his sisters,” a friend of hers told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She feels like she’s on good terms with Rob’s mom after all the cheating drama.”
It makes sense that she wants to give him space, and spending time with his family just him will be nice — especially since he has a super busy year coming up.
“If things were different with the rest of his family, she would be there for Christmas, but she still has concerns. The last thing she wants is to bring any drama whatsoever to Rob’s world,” the source added.
