Taylor Swift On Dating: Money & Fame Are Deal Breakers
Taylor is one of music’s most successful stars, so why can’t she find the perfect guy to settle down with? According to T-Swift, her money and fame have cost her a steady love life. The 23-year-old revealed to HELLO! that men are intimidated by her success.
“I suppose [my success] might be intimidating,” she says. “It’s not like I would look at a guy and say, ‘Hey, are you intimidated by me?’ I think that would be highly uncool on my part!”
This might be the reason why a string of famous guys haven’t been able to handle the megastar, but we’re sure there’s someone out there for her.
Taylor went on to say that she keeps it pretty old fashioned when it comes to dating. The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer likes it when guys talk to her first, because she figures if the guy approaches her first then he’s definitely interested. From there, Taylor lets the guy take the lead.
Taylor Swift’s Broken Heart Inspires Her Music
Taylor also told HELLO! that it’s hard for her to write a happy love song.
“I do tend to write more songs when I have a broken heart, though, because when you’re in love, you’re just so fascinated by the fact you’re in love,” she said. “You don’t take the time to write down everything that you’re feeling.”
