Say what you will about Katniss, but we think that Ariana Grande is the real girl on fire. Ariana rocked Rockefeller Center during the famous tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 4, performing one of her hit songs and a classic Christmas hit!
Ariana Grande, 20, is owning it this holiday season. First “The Way” singer dazzled the frozen Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade crowd with her rendition of “Last Christmas,” then she stunned at the Jingle Ball in Dallas on Dec. 2. But we think her performance at the 81st annual Rockefeller tree lighting was her best outing yet!
Ariana Grande’s Performance At ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’
Ariana looked absolutely stunning as she braved the cold at New York’s Rockefeller Center, performing her hit “Love is Everything” and the holiday classic “Last Christmas.” She showed off her amazing voice, and of course stunning look. She rocked an adorable green cape with red tights! We couldn’t get enough.
The star-studded holiday special was hosted by Today anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, and also featured performances from Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny “Babyface†Edmonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, Leona Lewis, Audra McDonald and The Rockettes.
The annual tree lighting has been a tradition since the Depression, so we’re so happy for Ariana that she was able to be a part of it! You go, girl!
Who Gave The Best Performance?
Obviously, we’re in love with Ariana’s performance of “Love is Everything” and “Last Christmas”, and the adorable holiday cape she sported for the occasion. Her hair was pulled back in her classic half-up do, but for some reason we never get sick of seeing it on her!
