Kristen looks very sultry and intense in the first still from her upcoming movie, ‘Camp X-Ray,’ which will premiere at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival in January!

Kristen Stewart has been extremely dedicated to filming the Guantanamo Bay drama Camp X-Ray, which is a huge step for her post-Twilight career. The 23-year-old actress was captured on set filming the new production and it looks like she’s really getting into her role! Kristen looks every bit the solider in this new picture from RobstenDreams.com. The actress, her hair tightly pulled back in a bun, is shown wearing a military guard outfit and hat, as she gazes intensely ahead.

Camp X-Ray, which will debut at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, centers around a young female guard (Kristen) at Guantanamo Bay, who forms a friendship with a man who has been a prisoner for eight years, according to IMDB.

The film is written and directed by Peter Sattler, and also stars Payman Maadi, Lane Garrison, J.J. Soria, and John Carol Lynch.

We can’t wait to see Kristen take on this serious role, and we think it’s great that she’s branching out and challenging herself as an actress!

Kristen Stewart In The Running For Sci-Fi Flick Starring Jennifer Lawrence’s Boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult

Kristen is also rumored to be the female lead in the upcoming sci-fi flick Equals. Also in the running for the male lead is Jennifer Lawrence‘s boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 24.

The Catching Fire star reportedly won’t be happy if Nicholas stars alongside Kristen because she “doesn’t trust her,” according to Star magazine.

J-Law, 23, is also competing with Kristen for the role, so she may just want the part for herself! We trust Kristen has learned her lesson from the Rupert Sanders cheating scandal — after all, look how serious she looks in that new still!
