Matthew Schuler may have been eliminated from The Voice on Dec. 3, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of the Pennsylvania native — especially if Carson Daly has anything to say about it! HollywoodLife.com caught up with the NBC show’s host shortly after Matthew’s shocking elimination, and he told us he sees big things in Matthew’s future. Dare we say, his future could even be full of Glee?
“Go big, go soon, go now!” Carson told us when we asked if Matthew should hit the ground running on his singing career. “He was the fastest four-chair turn in the show’s history; he has a great voice. … Matthew has a bright future in recording, and on TV and on Broadway. In a lot of different avenues! He should go on the Today show and announce a tour right now!”
OK, Carson might have gotten a little ahead of himself, but we agree that Matthew is an incredible, all-around talent.
Matthew Schuler To Appear On ‘Glee’?
“Every time I see [Matthew], I always think of Ryan Murphy from Glee,” Carson added. “I wanted to call Ryan. I wanted to reach out to him and tell him that this is somebody [who could be] a star on television.”
We could totally see Matthew fitting in with the gleeks! He might be too old to play a teenager at McKinley High, but he’d make a fine addition to Kurt, Rachel and Santana’s band.
