Whoa! The Kardashian Christmas card is becoming a holiday tradition, but this year the family took it to a whole new level — and reportedly a whole new price! So what did that 250k pay for, and who REALLY paid that bill?
The Kardashians look better than ever on their annual Christmas card, which they unveiled on Dec. 1, but it’s definitely more elaborate than ever. While usually they’re in the family’s fancy home or on a beautiful staircase, in their 2013 card, they’re in a crazy looking funhouse, filled with money signs, bright lights, and Bruce Jenner in a glass cage, looking at his medals. So, was it worth the $ 250,000 it cost?
Kardashian’s Christmas Card Cost
The production company for Keeping Up with the Kardashians paid for the entire bill, a source told RadarOnline. The set apparently took three days to put together, since it was so detailed. Photographer David LaChapelle definitely took his time bringing his ideas to life.
“David was extremely involved in all details of the set installation. It was Kim’s idea to get David to do the family photo Christmas picture,” a family friend told Radar.
“At first, David balked because he does photo shoots for major magazines, but Kim convinced him to do it. It wasn’t a cheap photo shoot, and the production company of Keeping Up With The Kardashians paid the $ 250,000 invoice. Hair, make-up, wardrobe, were all paid for by production, and the Kardashians didn’t pay one dime for their Christmas card!”
Jeez — so the family didn’t pay? Not even for those super sexy outfits?
Kardashian Christmas Card Leaves Out Key Men In The Family
While the women in the family looked absolutely stunning (as did Bruce), we were a little disappointed Rob Kardashian was absent in the photo.
While Lamar Odom, Scott Disick, and Kanye West were also left out, Rob is blood and we’d love to see him more! Plus, Kanye and Kim Kardashain may just be planning to do their own Christmas card with baby North West.
