Khloe Kardashian — it’s very clear from the trailer for the new season of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ that you’ve allowed the cameras to roll while you try to cope with your heartbreaking marriage meltdown.
Khloe Kardashian, this must have been a difficult decision, but it’s admirable that you’re giving your fans insight into your problems with Lamar Odom.
Khloe Kardashian Sharing Lamar Odom Marriage Troubles — So Brave
Khloe, I know you’re a reality star and you’re used to opening your life up to your Keeping Up with the Kardashians viewers. But even so, many reality stars would draw the line at sharing the true heartache that they experience when their marriages fall apart. You, however, have courageously given the go-ahead to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians crew to film you while you’re going through one of the hardest and most personal episodes of your entire life. “I’ve been in hiding because I’m afraid of people,” you say. “I have major anxiety. I have to move on with my life and that means changing a lot.”
The new trailer for the upcoming season reveals your agony, and also shows you crying over Lamar’s NBA number, which was 7, when you’re playing a card game. You actually tear up and then kiss the card. Finally, the preview shows you breaking down in tears and admitting that you don’t know what to do. It’s a very dramatic moment and it doesn’t look the least bit staged. It actually looks like you’re feeling a bit relieved to be speaking honestly about the difficult feelings and situation that you’re wrestling with.
Khloe, nobody knows what it’s like to have been walking in your shoes for the last several months. It appeared that Lamar, 34, became so troubled in July, 2013 that he began to spend most of his time in a loft in downtown LA. And then finally you reportedly kicked him out of your house in September after he was arrested for a DUIÂ on Aug. 30.
However, you’ve since revealed in the current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that you’ve been dealing with Lamar’s problems for a couple of years now, and that you’ve kept your troubles hidden from the rest of the family and from the public.

Khloe, you also confessed that you’ve been covering for Lamar, even with his business manager and with your family. Only your brother, Rob Kardashian, who lived with you, was in on your secret, and he found the situation equally distressing. So Khloe, you’ve kept all of this hidden for a long time. That in and of itself must have been a huge stress. It’s not easy to be living a lie — that’s why it’s so brave of you to let Season 9 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians focus on your marital issues.
I believe you made this decision because you feel so strongly that you need to move on. In fact, you cry out in the trailer — “I have to move on!”
Khloe, you’re so right. You do need to move on with your life. Even though you still love Lamar and you love what the two of you had together for a long time, you can’t keep torturing yourself by trying to keep your marriage together — especially when Lamar isn’t making an effort to put his problems in the past. He’s never gone to rehab, and he’s not even getting regular counseling of any sort for his alleged drug issues.
When somebody doesn’t want to help themselves, you can’t force them to do it. They need to make their own decisions. You just can’t keep living with the hurt that you have. At 29 years old, you have your own life, and you deserve to have a loving and mutually fulfilling marriage. You need to be able to count on your husband to be there for you, and you need to have a sober husband.
It’s appears that we’re going to see you struggling with all of these thoughts and issues in the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and I think you’ll find that, #1, your fans will be enormously sympathetic, and #2, being open and honest about your feelings will inspire other women who may be coping with similar situations, to also move on with their own lives.
So Khloe, while it’s not an easy path you’ve chosen to take, I think ultimately you’ll find it a great relief, and your spirit will be enriched by all of the warmth and love that you will get in response from your fans.
