Paul and Roger Rodas’ car crash was so explosive that it shattered building windows hundreds of feet from their accident, according to a property manager for a nearby apartment complex.
Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were sadly killed in a violent car accident on Nov. 30 in Santa Clarita, Calif. when their Porsche exploded into flames. The explosion wasn’t contained to the road, though — the impact of the crash was so powerful that debris flew as far as 0.1 miles from the accident.
Paul Walker’s Car Crash Explosion Shattered Building Windows & Shattered Property
Melvin Termain, a property manager for an apartment complex located hundreds of feet from crash site told RadarOnline that debris “flew down the hill” into the complex’s parking lot.
âA tree got broken, it messed up a little of the landscaping,” he said. “Debris flew up and hit the window in the furthest unit.â
Security cameras would have been helpful for any extra insight and evidence, but unfortunately, the complex doesn’t have any.
Paul Walker’s Autopsy Scheduled For Dec. 3
The autopsies on Paul, 40, and Roger, 38, are scheduled for Dec. 3, Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County coronerâs office told CNN.com.
However, they are not 100 percent sure they will be able to take place because of the severe damage from the crash. âWe are working on the identification issues concurrently,â the coroners office told E! News on Dec. 2, when they got put on hold. âBoth of the autopsies on the victims of that accident are on hold. We are probably holding off pending identification confirmation. The bodies have not been identified. The bodies have not yet been examined.â
Lt. Fred Corrall also told CNN that they are waiting for dental X-rays for both Paul and Roger to make the official identifications.
Our thoughts are with Paulâs family and friends at this difficult time.
