Paul Walker’s Family Reacts To Tragic Death â€" Official Statement

Paul Walker’s family has taken to his official Facebook page to release a statement about the death of the actor on Nov. 30. While at a charity event, Paul was riding in a friend’s car that hit a tree, and exploded into flames. He was 40.

The tragic car crash that killed Paul Walker took place in Santa Clarita, Cali. volunteering with his charity, Reach Out Worldwide to raise money to help those affected by the storm in the Philippines. His family and friends are heartbroken by the tragedy, as are we. They released the following statement.

It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. - #TeamPW

Paul Walker’s Tragic Death

Paul had been with friends taking them out for test drives in his new Porsche when the accident occurred. A friend of his was driving but lost control of the vehicle.

“Sadly, I must confirm that Paul did pass away this afternoon.  I don’t have an official statement at this time,” Paul’s rep told HollywoodLife.com.

Additionally, Santa Clarita’s Sheriff’s Station confirmed that they were pronounced dead immediately.

“Sheriffs deputies are currently investigating a two person accident,” Deputy Heischuber told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Two people were pronounced dead immediately at the scene. The coroner’s office are the ones who will determine the identity.”

The world is completely heartbroken. ‘Fast & Furious’ star Paul Walker sadly died on Nov. 30 after a car exploded into flames at the age of 40. Celebs have taken to Twitter to remember the young star.

Paul Walker died in a tragic accident in Santa Clarita, California, his rep confirmed to HollywoodLife.com. The driver reportedly lost control of the Porsche, causing the car to crash and burst into flames, TMZ reported.

“Sadly I must confirm that Paul did pass away this afternoon,” Paul’s rep told HollywoodLife.com. The accident also took place when he was taking his friends for test drives in the GT. He was in Santa Clarita to support the Philippines storm relief efforts at a car show.

So sad. Paul Walker, the star of many hit movies including the ‘Fast and the Furious’ series, died on Nov. 30 after being involved in a single car accident and explosion. He was 40 years old.

Paul Walker, 40, died on Nov. 30 after getting into a fiery car accident in Southern California, according to TMZ. The car Paul was in was the only one involved in the crash, though reportedly one other person perished in the accident.

Paul Walker Dies In Tragic Car Accident

The tragic accident occurred in Santa Clarita, which is north of Los Angeles. Sources claim that the Fast and the Furious star was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle. It then slammed into either a post or a tree and then burst into flames.

Paul and one other person were killed by the fiery crash, though it is currently unclear at the moment who was driving. It is also not yet known what caused the driver to lose control.

Paul was reportedly in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines storm relief efforts. He had reportedly been taking friends out for test drives in the Porsche GT, and the accident occurred on one such ride.

The Life Of Paul Walker

The actor first gained fame when he starred in the 1999 film Varsity Blues. From there he became a household name, especially when he landed the role he is most known for — as Brian O’Connor in The Fast and the Furious movie series. Other films he starred in include Eight Below, Into the Blue, She’s All That, and Takers.

He is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

This is such a brutal tragedy that has taken an actor who was still in his prime. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family in this difficult time.

We wonder if the Unapologetic singer will spend this Christmas cuddling with her Santa. Last year, she memorably spent the big holiday going to the Los Angeles Lakers game with Chris Brown. Now that he’s in rehab and progressing in his relationship with Karrueche Tran, we won’t be expecting a repeat of 2012.

Smh… ” The message was definitely cryptic, but it easily could be interpreted to mean that Selena thought Justin only liked Latinas — like her — and was upset to hear about his sexual escapades in Australia.

Now let’s break this down — as we know, Selena is of Latina descent, and based on Justin’s infatuation for her and his recent escapades in South America, we know he likes “the Latina category.” So was Selena surprised to hear that Justin was reportedly partying with Australian strippers?, or annoyed to see him making out with Cailin Russo in his video for “All That Matters?”

On the other hand, Selena did use the hashtag, “#hatewhengirlssaythat,” which seems to suggest that Selena doesn’t like when girls make assumptions about what guys like — or that they even think about it in the first place.

A third possibility is that she was wearing makeup, and had gotten tired of girls using the “#nomakeup” hashtag.

A rep for Michael confirmed that he was preparing to be a dad again, according to Us Weekly. MJ and Yvette have been married for seven months, though they have been a couple for over five years.

It will be their first child together. Michael, 50, has three children — Jeffrey, 24, Marcus James, 22, and daughter Jasmine, 19 — from his previous 17-year marriage with Juanita Venoy.

MJ married Yvette, a 34-year-old Cuban-American model, in April in what was one of the most lavish wedding ceremonies of the year.

They said their vows at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea Church and were joined by over 300 guests, including Usher, Tiger Woods, Robin Thicke, Spike Lee, and many more.

Afterwards, the couple held their reception at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla. The tent where the reception was held was 40,000 square feet, bigger than the massive mansion MJ had built earlier in the year. And over 1,500 people were invited to the party.

“He wanted to give Yvette everything she’s ever wanted,” a source told People at the time.

Well, now he’s given her a baby too. So we’ll go ahead and say he accomplished that mission.

Cause of Death: After shooting himself in the abdomen during the Sept. 29 series finale, Walter collapsed on the floor of Jack’s meth lab.

Character: Silas
Actor: Paul Wesley
Cause of Death: Silas was killed by his “shadow self” Stefan (also Paul Wesley) on the Nov. 14 episode, left to die in the arms of his true love, Amara (Nina Dobrev).

Actor: Ron Perlman
Cause of Death: Clay was taken down by a bullet, courtesy of his step-son Jax, shortly after escaping his jail cell on the show’s Nov. 19 episode. It was truly the end of an era.

Cause of Death: Threatened by Madison potentially becoming the next Supreme, Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) slit her pretty little throat Oct. 23 — but that wasn’t the last we saw of her!

Cause of Death: Carter’s end came when she was shot by Officer Simmons (Robert John Burke) on the show’s Nov. 19 episode.

Chris Brown understandably hasn’t been in the highest of spirits since heading back to rehab to address his anger management issues. Thankfully, he has a devoted girlfriend to cheer him up. And on Thanksgiving Day, Karrueche Tran went all out for a dinner that got so emotional that she was brought to tears!

Chris wasn’t in the comforts of his own house on Nov. 28, but Karrueche brought home to him — and she did not skimp, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

“She made him everything,” the source says. “She brought the boy a home-cooked turkey, yams, cranberry stuffing, black-eyed peas — the works.” KT even smartly overcooked so that Chris could have leftovers for days.

There’s really nothing more romantic than cooking for a significant other, and Karrueche’s all-out Thanksgiving feast definitely brought her and Chris closer together.

“He was thankful and real receptive to her,” the source continued. “He told her, ‘Babe, I’m thankful for everything that is you. Thanks for looking after me and I love you.’”

Chris professed his love and gratefulness all while on his knees, according to the source, and his emotional words were enough to bring Karrueche to tears. “She was completely moved by what he said,” added the insider. “She said she couldn’t stop crying and that her hands were shaking.”

It must be nearly impossible for Karrueche and Chris to be apart during this difficult time, and it must be even harder for Karrueche to see her boyfriend struggle. But clearly they’re both there for each other, and together they can get through anything.

That really is something to be thankful for.

But let’s go back to the first date kiss thing — we’re wondering which guys, to quote Selena, “did something right.” Perhaps Justin Bieber was one of them?

You’d think he’d be a good guess considering their history, and considering that a source close to Selena told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she still misses him.

“Selena thinks fondly of the good times with Justin,” the source said. “She misses the good times, and the fun they had.”

The Hercules flick definitely takes some cues from other movies from the same time period – 300, Gladiator, Troy, etc. — but it appears that Kellan has been able to breathe new life into a tired topic.

As Hercules, the former Twilight star is (as far as he knows) a bastard son to a queen who is unaware of his true identity and ability. At first just another Greek warrior, he soon learns that he is the son of Zeus, and that’s when things start to get fun.

The movie appears to be a straight origin story, with clear intentions to stretch Hercules’ story into several action-heavy flicks. Which we will not be against — Kellan looks more ripped than ever and thankfully, the Greeks weren’t too keen on wearing shirts.

‘Hercules’: Not Just An Action Movie

Hercules will also feature some romantic elements. First, Kellan’s character will have to decide whether to face his destiny or run off with the Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. Later on, the romance between Hercules and Princess Hebe is established.

It’s all going to be a ton of fun to see (the movie’s out on Jan. 10), for guys and girls!

But for Chad, whose marriage to Evelyn ended after two months in Sept. 2012, he doesn’t have anything to worry about, according to TMZ.

Evelyn has reportedly been in a relationship with another man for almost a year and the relationship is very serious. The pregnancy was reportedly planned and until now, only a few family members knew about the baby on board.

We’re happy to hear that Evelyn’s second child will be born into a drama-free environment — it would’ve been trouble if the baby had turned out to be Chad’s.

The two seemed to be happily married — they tied the knot in July of 2012 — until Chad was shockingly arrested for assaulting Evelyn in Aug. 2012. Chad was charged with domestic battery for allegedly head-butting Evelyn after an argument. He was immediately released from the Miami Dolphins, and Evelyn filed for divorce shortly after.

In Sept. 2012, Chad plead no contest and was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, and sentenced to one year of probation.

But it really seems like that chapter of Evelyn’s life is over. She’s moving on with another man and a baby-to-be, and we couldn’t be happier for her!

It was bound to happen! Miley’s cat-tastic performance at the American Music Awards was finally lampooned on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ when the country singer turned “Wrecking Ball” into a Thanksgiving-themed song. Read on to watch!

We loved Miley Cyrus‘ performance at the AMAs on Nov. 24 — which featured her in a skimpy leotard simply singing “Wrecking Ball” while an animated cat mouthed the words behind her — but we can’t say we’re surprised it’s getting made fun of. Country singer Carrie Underwood did the honors in a hilarious performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Nov. 28.

The spoof started with Jimmy Fallon and actress Rashida Jones singing other Thanksgiving-themed songs. They rocked out about getting turkey in a parody of Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky,” and they even sang a song about Hanukkah to the music of Lorde‘s “Royals” (we’re sure she’ll have an opinion about that).

But the highlight definitely came when Carrie made a surprise appearance in front of, yep, an animated singing cat! As she bellowed out, “You made me cook a butterball/And then a green bean casserole,” the cat sang along with a pilgrim hat on in a perfect imitation of Miley at the AMAs.

It was definitely all in good fun, though Carrie really could have taken it to the next level by donning Miley’s signature, crotch-baring onesie.

And actually, HollywoodLife.com reported exclusively that Miley’s performance in itself was a bit of a diss. The producers of the AMAs warned performers to avoid being racy, and the “We Can’t Stop” singer cleverly lashed out at their Puritan request.

“She definitely would have pushed it further,” a source told us. “She decided to prove a point and put her p***y up on the big screen.” Ahh, we get it!

Jane Kean: ‘Honeymooners’ Star Dies At 90

So sad. The iconic actress who played Trixie on ‘The Honeymooners’ passed away on Nov. 26 in Burbank, Calif. She was 90 years old.

Jane Kean, who gained notoriety in the 1960s for starring in the revival TV series The Honeymooners alongside Jackie Gleeson and Art Carney, died on Nov. 26 at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif.

The 90-year-old actress passed away after suffering complications from a fall, according to the Los Angeles Times. Her niece, Deidre Wolpert, confirmed her death.

Most will remember Jane as Trixie, the long-suffering wife of Ed Norton on The Honeymooners. “There’s something about the show — people relate to it,” she told the Los Angeles Times in 1991. “People believed the show was real, and that we really were the characters we played.”

But Jane was not a one-role actress. She played many different characters over the span of four decades, including a successful run on Broadway. Prior to The Honeymooners, she appeared in Broadway shows like The Pajama Game and Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?. Most recently she starred in a two-woman musical that she wrote called We, which also featured Barbara Perry.

Jane’s first marriage to Richard Linkroum ended in divorce. Afterwards, she wed her manager, Joe Hecht. They were together until he died in 2006.

Jane is survived by her niece, her niece’s husband and their two children, as well as her stepson, Joe Hecht Jr., and his son.

The legendary performer will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family in this difficult time.
