Character: Walter White
Actor: Bryan Cranston
Cause of Death: After shooting himself in the abdomen during the Sept. 29 series finale, Walter collapsed on the floor of Jack’s meth lab.

Show: The Vampire Diaries
Character: Silas
Actor: Paul Wesley
Cause of Death: Silas was killed by his “shadow self” Stefan (also Paul Wesley) on the Nov. 14 episode, left to die in the arms of his true love, Amara (Nina Dobrev).

Show: Sons of Anarchy
Character: Clay Morrow
Actor: Ron Perlman
Cause of Death: Clay was taken down by a bullet, courtesy of his step-son Jax, shortly after escaping his jail cell on the show’s Nov. 19 episode. It was truly the end of an era.

Character: Madison Montgomery
Actor: Emma Roberts
Cause of Death: Threatened by Madison potentially becoming the next Supreme, Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) slit her pretty little throat Oct. 23 — but that wasn’t the last we saw of her!

Cause of Death: Carter’s end came when she was shot by Officer Simmons (Robert John Burke) on the show’s Nov. 19 episode.

Cause of Death: Though we’re not entirely sure whether or not Eric met the true death while sun-tanning atop that Swedish mountain, we’re positive that we died the second we saw his penis.
