Staying fresh is part of the Hollywood game — you’ve gotta always keep the fans guessing. That’s why we’re always talking about Miley Cyrus – she’s never boring. Remember when she had long brown hair?

Miley’s makeover is a drastic example. She shocked everyone in Sept. 2012 when she ditched the country girl look for something edgier by chopping off all of her hair, shaving the sides, and dying it blonde. She’s also upgraded her fashion, adopting a partly couture, partly punk, partly hip-hop style.
Selena Gomez‘s transformation has been a little more gradual, but her style has grown as she does. No offense to the younger Selena, but as a Wizards of Waverly Place star, she looked like a sweet, sort of boring, little kid. Fast-forward to 2013, when the actress/singer started hitting red carpets looking like the HBIC. Just look at her outfits from the Spring Breakers press tour, or the sexy, gorgeous dress she wore to the MTV VMAs. She’s a style icon now.
But if we’re going to make fun of girls’ past looks, we have to talk about Kristen Stewart. Before Twilight, we’re not even sure she owned a mirror! Just look at her as a teen — blue jeans and a weird shirt on a red carpet?! K-Stew has really made some improvements. She may dress down as much as possible these days, but when she attends events — like Paris Fashion Week — she always makes the Best Dressed list.
