Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been through a lot together after dating seven years, most recently dealing with Scott’s mother, Bonnie Disick‘s tragic death on Oct. 28. Scott, 30, has always known that he wanted to marry Kourtney, 34, but she has been turned off by his party-boy behavior. Recently, however, Kourtney has seen a softer side of Scott that has her ready to walk down the aisle!

Kourtney believes that the death of Scott’s mother, Bonnie, forced him to become much more mature, a source tells Life & Style magazine.
Scott was devastated after Bonnie passed away suddenly from cirrhosis of the liver at age 63. Kourtney accompanied Scott to the funeral in New York City on Oct. 30, where she stood by his side as he grieved. Spending this time together helped Kourtney realize that the tragedy has made Scott a more sensitive and mature person.
And Kourtney’s friends seem to think so to. “Scott will definitely make a good husband,” a friend of Kourtney’s tells the mag. “He’s very attentive and loving.”
We can see just how much he loves Kourtney, too. Unfortunately, it took a tragedy to bring out his more sensitive side, but we’re glad it brought Kourtney and Scott closer together.

Kourtney and Scott have two kids together, Penelope, 1, and Mason, 3, and it looks like baby number three may be on the way!
“Everyone’s buzzing that {Kourtney’s} already in the very early stages of pregnancy because she’s totally glowing right now,†a source told OK! magazine.
