Kanye feels the Kardashians ‘don’t get enough credit’ for the positive impact they have on society, and he’s singing their praises for changing the way America sees interracial relationships in a new interview.
Kanye West, 36, sat down to discuss all things Kardashian in a new radio interview on Nov. 25, explaining how his relationship with fiance Kim Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian‘s relationship with husband Lamar Odom, have helped ”prep America to accept interracial relationships.” Read on for all the details!
Kanye West On Interracial Relationships: Credits Kardashians For De-Stigmatizing
Kanye insists his in-laws-to-be should get the credit they deserve for the promoting the “acceptance” of interracial love and relationships.
“A lot of what the Kardshians do, I don’t think they get enough credit for what they do. They prep America to accept interracial relationships,” Kanye tells New York’s 92.3 NOW radio.
“There’s a white woman that’s getting talked down to by her friends because she’s dating a black guy,” Kanye adds as an example. ”Now you’ve got a point of reference, that you can say, ‘Well, actually this couple right here, that’s dope.”
Kanye has a good point — he and Kim and Khloe and Lamar have helped break down racial barriers and set a positive example for interracial couples everywhere. Good for them!
Kim Kardashian Supports Kanye West’s Hometown
On Nov. 26, Kim, 33, strolled down the streets of NYC rocking a vintage tee, while on mommy duty! The comfy tee simultaneously paid homage to the infamous rock band Chicago and her fiance, Mr. West, who hails from the Windy City!
