The Jonas Brothers decided to give their fans a special holiday gift by dropping five new songs for their Team Jonas fanclub members and now HollywoodLife.com has gotten ahold of them just for you!
The Jonas Brothers called it quits but they are still releasing head-bopping music! One month after they announced they were breaking up, they followed through on their promise to their fans and released five new songs: “Found,” “What Do I Mean To You,” “Neon,” “Wedding Bells,” and “The World.”
Jonas Brothers Release Five New Songs
JoBro fans all over the world are so excited to take a listen to these new tracks. First up, we have “Wedding Bells,” which fans have speculated that it’s about Miley Cyrus. Miley dated Nick Jonas in 2006 and there are several clues in the song that had her even telling Ryan Seacrest that it was “blatant” the song was about her.
Then there’s “Found,” which is also about love! Here are some of the lyrics: “Tell me you want me to love you/Tell me you are a star/I’ll be around yeah you’ll never found.”
One of their darker songs is âWhat Do I Mean to You.â The lyrics sound unlike others songs we are used to from the happy bunch: I might believe in Jesus/But show me the light/The side of the road/The Devil gave you a ride/What do I mean/What do I mean to you.”
âNeon,â also sounds like it’s about love and heartbreak: Stars fade/Hearts break/Fair trade/Is it ever even.”
âThe World,â sounds like maybe it could be about their own band and their break up. Take a listen and tell us what you think.
“No I canât fly/Canât swim across the sea/Donât wonder why/Itâs just the way itâs gotta be/I love that you care/Not know that you care/Itâs just us in this wrong.”
Jonas Brothers On ‘GMA’ : ‘We’re Family First’
“Weâre family first and thatâs always been our main priority and so honesty within what we do as a group was really important,â Nick Jonas, 21, told Robin Roberts on âGood Morning America.â  âI came to the table with the guysâ¦and shared my heart with them.â
He also confirmed that there were complications with the band for awhile, so it was a “tough conversation” to have.
âIt was just individual things that we were just butting heads about, whether it was the way to set up the music video or even just personal opportunities,â Joe Jonas, 24, said. The brothers than realized they should branch off into their own ventures with support from one another.
He also laughed off the rumors that the band broke up because he was a drug addict, and said the rumor was “obviously not true” in a People interview.
Even though they’re going to do their own thing, they have a parting gift for fans!
Jonas Brothers Won’t Release Full Version Of ‘V’ Album
âWeâre going to release four of the unreleased songs from [X],â Kevin Jonas, 25, said. âWe put together the 10 live tracks from the last summer tour, so weâll be giving that to our fans as a gift from us.â The expectant dad is also excited to explore the business side of the music industry.
He also revealed to People that he was the one who deleted the band’s Twitter, because it wasn’t “authentic” to them anymore, calling the deleting process “therapeutic.”
âI think that we have the best fans in the world and have for our entire career so we thank them for really understanding,â added Nick.
âThis is the first time in a long time we have time to focus on ourselves and support each other through that,â said Joe, who will explore acting and making his own music, which Nick will pursue as well.
But will they ever get back together?
âI think itâs impossible to say forever with anything,â Nick stated. âWeâre playing it one step at a time right now and, like we said, rebuilding as brothers first and starting there.â
