Taylor Swift, 23, got totally dissed by Harry Styles, 19, last week when he came to Los Angeles for the American Music Awards and hung out with Kendall Jenner — even though he’s been sending Taylor sexy text messages. So as much as we were hoping for a Haylor reunion, we totally applaud her romantic London date with ‘Romeo and Juliette’ star Douglas Booth, 21. But, it turns out Taylor may not be moving on as quickly as she wants us all to believe!
Taylor Swift Dated Douglas Booth To Make Harry Styles Jealous
It’s the oldest trick in the book! Date someone new — and hot — and rub it in your ex’s face. And apparently even the biggest pop star in the world isn’t above using this age-old manipulation tactic. Taylor orchestrated her uber-public date with Douglas at one of London’s most popular pubs in an effort to incite envy in Harry, a source reveals EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com.
“Taylor’s date with Douglas was all about making Harry jealous, and she made sure that everyone found out about her night out. Taylor usually tries to be really low-profile, but for her meeting with Douglas she purposely chose somewhere that she knew would get attention. She went to one of busiest pubs in London and sat in the public area. She wanted the news to get out about the date because she knows it will make Harry jealous. Plus she doesn’t want Harry — or anyone else for that matter — to think she’s sitting home waiting for him. And she isn’t moping — she has lots of options, and Douglas is one of them. She’s testing things out with Douglas, because he’s gorgeous and a fun distraction.”

Hailee Steinfeld Introduced Taylor Swift & Douglas Booth
Taylor’s gal-pal Hailee Steinfeld, 16, is credited for bringing the young stars together. Hailee starred opposite Douglas in the romantic fall flick Romeo and Juliet.
Hailee hooked the pair up during the afterparty of the film’s L.A. premiere in September, where the two were reportedly flirting the whole time and were even spotted in a photo booth.
