Paul Walker’s Character Brian Might Be Killed In ‘Fast & Furious 7′

Aside from the devastation of friends, family and fans, Paul Walker’s tragic death on Nov. 30 brought up another issue: What will happen to his character in the upcoming, half-completed film, ‘Fast & Furious 7′?

After his shocking and sudden death in a car crash following a charity event in Santa Clarita, Calif, on Nov. 30, the question remains as to what will happen to Paul Walker‘s iconic Fast & Furious character, Brian O’Conner, in the seventh film of the franchise, which was slated to complete filming in 2014. HollywoodLife.com spoke with a source close to production who provided us with EXCLUSIVE details.

How Will ‘Fast & Furious 7′ Handle Paul Walker’s Passing?

It’s been less than 48 hours since Paul tragically left us, and Hollywood — in the midst of its grieving — has had to start looking ahead as to what to do about the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.

“Every possible angle moving forward with the script is on the table, ” a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com. “They have thought of killing his character off in a heroic fashion, taking him completely out of the film and even keeping what he filmed and surrounding it with new scenes to make it all make sense. They are delaying everything until they figure it out, which most likely will be next year after the holidays.”

It certainly sounds like the production is considering all their options, and taking the necessary time to make the right decision.

‘Fast & Furious 7′ Will Honor Paul Walker’s Memory

While all options are being considered, one thing is certain: the new film will honor it’s late star’s memory.

“Many people within the production haven’t even heard the tragic news because of the holidays,” another source told us exclusively, “But its almost positive that the movie will still move forward in his honor.”

While we are deeply saddened by his loss and the reminder of how fleeting life can be, it is good to know that Fast & Furious 7 will go on, attempting to keep the late 40-year-old actor and father in mind and heart.
