The leading actors of the film â€" minus Josh Hutcherson, who was busy practicing his jokes for Saturday Night Live â€" hit the Big Apple carpet to celebrate the opening of Catching Fire, which is already earning rave reviews. ‘Catching Fire’ New York Premiere Red Carpet
Is it just us, or is it literally impossible for Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin to look less than fantastic? Both leading men looked perfectly dapper, while the ladies also donned interesting looks. Elizabeth Banks left her gorgeous gowns at home and instead stepped out in pants, showing off just how versatile her style really is — it was definitely a bold move, to say the least!
Of course the biggest draw of the night was Katniss herself, and Jennifer surprised us by wearing a Dior jacket over a bra on this occasion. Sure, she was wearing Dior once again, but the ensemble was a MAJOR departure especially next to the sheer haute couture creation she wore at the Los Angeles premiere. While this get-up was definitely a bit dressed down, it showed some skin and also had an edgy vibe — and she looked so cool and comfortable in the separates! While we wouldn’t recommend wearing a jacket as a dress, Jen makes it look so effortless and chic.
