The biggest names in music walked the red carpet at the 2013 AMAs, and they didn’t disappoint with their show-stopping looks! See who made our best dressed list & VOTE for your favorite get-up of the night.
From Miley Cyrus to Rihanna and Taylor Swift, so many of our favorite songstresses rocked the red carpet at the 2013 American Music Awards in LA on Nov. 24 — and they really dressed to impress for the big night. From gorgeous gowns to barely there looks, there was so much variety — and we loved so many of the looks!
AMAs Best Dressed 2013:
Katy Perry made an interesting statement as she stepped out in a strapless ball gown that featured bursts of red and pink flowers. With a glossy red lip the star rocked her quirky look, which is sure to garner mixed reactions. While it was an interesting choice, we expect nothing less from the star — and we can’t wait to see what she slips into for her opening performance!
Zendaya Coleman also caught our eye as she glided down the red carpet in a lovely white off-the-shoulder ensemble that draped around her figure. The billowing top almost looked like a dress from the side, but when she turned around her white pants were visible beneath the asymmetrical top, which featured one sleeve. Silver peep-toe platform pumps were paired with her get-up, while countless bangles decorated her bare arm and she sported a Jon Hardy cocktail ring and larger-than-life hoops. She also showed off hair that could rival Rapunzel’s as she wore it straight and parted in the middle. This sleek and sophisticated look wasn’t what we were expecting to see on the teen, but she did pull it off.
Zendaya covered up, but Jordin Sparks rocked a leggy look in a black and gold gown that featured a thigh-high slit allowing her to put her leg on full display. The hint of skin was sexy and unexpected, and she knew how to work it on the red carpet! Embellished strappy sandals added to the sexy look while she rocked black and gold bangles that matched the color of the dress.
Miley wasn’t the only Cyrus to turn heads on the red carpet! In fact, her little sister, Brandi, looked stylish in an embellished white mini dress and a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps that she actually borrowed from her big sister’s closet! In fact, we’ve seen the shoes on Miley a handful of times. While Brandi’s dress had a short hemline, it was balanced out by the long-sleeved silhouette.
