Batkid to the rescue! Five-year-old Miles Scott, now in remission from leukemia, captivated the hearts of the people of San Francisco and beyond, as even a ton of celebrities from Britney Spears to President Barack Obama tweeted their amazement and support.
The world can seem like a pretty crummy place sometimes, but once in awhile something happens that reaffirms our hope. Nov. 15 was one of those days as the city of San Francisco morphed into Gotham City for the benefit of five-year-old former leukemia patient Miles Scott, a.k.a. Batkid, who was able to live out his superhero dream. Everyone joined in on the inspiring day, including Britney Spears and even the President of the United States!Â
