Lady Gaga definitely won the AMAs red carpet arrivals — after all, she showed up riding a mechanical horse powered by humans! Her performance of “Do What U Want” with R Kelly kept up the energy!
Miley showed off a relatively conservative outfit on the red carpet — if you gloss over the fact she wasn’t wearing a shirt, she was all covered up in a white blazer and ankle-length slacks! But that all changed when she took the stage to perform her hit song, “Wrecking Ball.” Miley showed off a high-cut cat bikini and performed next to a screen of a singing cat!
The guys of One Direction gave a fun performance of “Story of My Life,” and had the entire crowd on their feet enjoying their catchy tune! They took home their first ever AMA — and then followed up by winning a second to take home!
Taylor Swift took home the Favorite Country Album award — and showed off her stems in a sparkling gold mini-dress!
Rihanna was honored with the AMA Icon Award, a hefty title that she accepted by performing her hit single, “Diamonds.” Her mom even presented her with the award, which was hands-down the sweetest, most emotional moment of the night!
