Brittany’s dad, Angelo Bertolotti, will not be satisfied until he finds out why his daughter’s life was cut short in 2009. He tells HollywoodLife.com that he believes Brittany was murdered and he will not rest until the case is re-opened!
Brittany Murphy‘s dad, Angelo Bertolotti, wants the world to know that he believes his daughter was killed intentionally. The father of the late actress tells HollywoodLife.com that he thinks about Brittany “24/7,” and that he will do anything he can to convince the LA County Medical Examiners Office to do another autopsy.
Brittany Murphy’s Dad Wants Police To Investigate
Brittany’s dad will not accept the original autopsy report from 2009 that claims she died from pneumonia. That’s why he hired The Carlson Company to do another autopsy, where they claim to have found various metals in her system that are consistent with what is found in rat poison.
“She was too young to die. It wasn’t a natural death,” Angelo tells us. “We formally submitted the proper request and asking the LA County Medical Examiners Office to do those tests. We don’t know if the case will be re-opened but we are going to force it. I don’t know why [she was murdered] that’s why I want the authorities to investigate.”

Brittany’s dad goes on to tell us that he believes Brittany would have wanted him to continue to seek for answers.
“I think about her 24/7 and I hope there is justice,” he says. “She is always in my thoughts.”
Brittany Found With ‘Toxins’ In System
Brittany’s father, Angelo Bertolotti, never believed the LA Coroner’s report, he was convinced that she and her husband Simon Monjack, had exhibited signs of heavy metal poisoning.
He reached out to The Carlson Company to get independent tests done and found out shocking results. The lab reports, obtained by The Examiner, said:
Ten (10) of the heavy metals evaluated were detected at levels higher that the WHO [The World Health Organization] high levels. Testing the hair strand sample identified as†back of the head†we have detected ten (10) heavy metals at levels above the WHO high levels recommendation. If we were to eliminate the possibility of a simultaneous accidental heavy metals exposure to the sample donor then the only logical explanation would be an exposure to these metals (toxins) administered by a third party perpetrator with likely criminal intent.
These heavy metals are most frequently found in rodenticides and insecticides. Her father knew that she had displayed the symptoms from heavy metal poisoning, including headaches, abdominal cramps, wheezing, disorientation, congestion and pneumonia.
