Chris has been out of anger management rehab for less than a week, but he’s already hit the ground running with the Nov. 19 release of his new EP ‘X Files.’
He’s back! After numerous delays, Chris Brown, 24, released six selections from his upcoming X album on Nov. 19. With highlights including ”Sweet Caroline,” which features Busta Rhymes, and “Love 2 Remember,” which is clearly about Chris’ ex-girlfriend Rihanna,” X Files cannot be missed. Click below to listen!
‘X Files’: The Tracks
After numerous delays â"Â one of them being Chris’ stint in anger management rehab â"Â Breezy announced the big news on his Twitter account on Nov. 17:
X files mixtape Tuesday NOV 19th, 5 songs.
â" Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) November 18, 2013
… then announced an additional offering two days later:
Midnight!!! Xfiles!(added bonus track)
â" Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) November 19, 2013
The six songs that made the cut are ”War For You,” ”Waiting,” ”Sweet Caroline” featuring Busta Rhymes,”Love 2 Remember,” ”Fantasy” featuring Ludacris, and ”Main Chick” featuring Kid Ink. “Sweet Caroline” may sound familiar, but the Busta collaboration is most definitely not a cover of the Neil Diamond classic â" instead, it’s a riff on some of Chris’ ongoing lady problems.
Will ‘X’ Ever Be Released?
As of press time, no announcement has been made regarding whether or not the full-length X album will actually be released. Plagued by constant delays, Chris said in an interview last October that he may never release a full-length album again, thanks to digital downloading and rapidly declining album sales.
“After [X Files], maybe I’ll release a single every few months,” Chris said. “Or release a song. You’re still going to hear my music and videos.”
What do you think of X Files, HollywoodLifers?
