Chris helped raise money for victims affected by the typhoon in the Philippines by posing with fans at a charity event at a West Hollywood, Calif. clothing store on Nov. 17.
Chris Brown is no stranger to supporting those in need. This time, the 24-year-old X singer joined friends outside of West Hollywood’s Brooklyn Projectz clothing store for a small aid event hosted by former import model Christine Mendoza, 28. Read on for all the details.
Chris Brown’s Charity Work â€" Singer Supports Typhoon Victims In Philippines
Ever since Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines, killing thousands of people, many celebrities have come forward to help those affected by the storm. On Nov. 17, the “Fine China†singer took a break from his recent rehab troubles to lend a helping hand to typhoon victims in desperate need, the UK’s Daily Mail reports. Chris showed his support for the cause by conversing and taking pictures with supporters and others involved in the event at Brooklyn Projectz.
Filipina model Christine organized the relief drive for her native country, arranging for clothing and non-perishable foods to be delivered to those affected by the heart-wrenching disaster.
Chris took to Twitter to say how happy he was to participate in the event:

Chris Brown Checks Out of Rehab
On Nov. 13, Chris checked out of rehab in Malibu, Calif. Since then, he has enrolled in an outpatient program and will continue to be treated for anger management.
“He’s laying low, but he’s still doing his therapy while he’s out,†friends of his told Hollywoodlife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Unfortunately, this hasn’t been Chris’ week, month or year, but we’re still rooting for the star and we wish him the absolute best during these trying times.
