Joyce is determined to stand by Chris, even after he reportedly threw a rock at her car when she came to visit him for a family session at the rehab facility where he spent two weeks.

Chris and Joyce have had their differences about his anger management treatment, but they’re “working it out,” a source close to the X artist tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Joyce loves her boy and is not giving up on him. She comes from a position of power, she’s a proud black woman and she’s strong. She’s tough and Chris sometimes takes her motherly love as her coming down on him and telling him what to do. She wants him to get all the counseling and help he needs and she even did a few marriage and family therapy sessions with him.

It sounds like Joyce is being a very compassionate mother, and we think that’s exactly what Chris needs right now!

Karrueche Tran Continues To Show Love & Support For Chris Brown

Chris’ girlfriend Karrueche Tran, 25, has also been very supportive of him during this difficult time. She was even there to hold his hand as he walked into his court hearing on Nov. 20.

“Karrueche’s dealing, and it’s hard for her too, but she’s sticking by his side,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
