Jack sure does take after his relatives! Besides possessing the Kennedy family’s handsome looks, he also showed that he’s a powerful speaker when he gave a moving speech on Nov. 20 to honor his late grandfather JFK’s legacy.
Jack Schlossberg, 20, spoke at a Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony in Washington, D.C., that honored John F. Kennedy to mark the 50th anniversary of his death. However, his challenging task was to introduce none other than President Barack Obama! What did Jack say?
Jack Schlossberg, JFK’s Grandson, Gives Emotional Speech Honoring JFK
“[JFK] reminded us that everyone has the capacity to explore, to imagine and to give back to our great nation no matter the path we choose,” Jack said about his grandfather.
Jack certainly has a way with words and is a wonderful embodiment of JFK’s character. It’s no surprise that he’s currently a student at Yale and is studying to become an EMT!
Barack noted in his speech that JFK’s ideas stay current in America — and not just because he was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963.
“In his idealism — sober, squared jawed idealism — we are reminded that the power to change this country is ours,” Barack said.
Jack Schlossberg Looks Just Like Uncle JFK Jr.
Jack was also present at the State Department ceremony for his mother, Caroline Kennedy, being sworn in as the U.S. Ambassador for Japan on Nov. 12. However, he stole the show â" and everyoneâs heart — with his good looks!
Jack, a heartthrob of Americaâs royal family, looks just like his handsome uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., who sadly passed away in 1999 in a plane crash. Even though Jack (whose real first name is John) was just six when his uncle died, he shares the same full head of hair, chiseled features, eyes and eyebrows and close-mouthed grin that JFK Jr. was famous for.
