Justin Timberlake lit up the American Music Awards on Nov. 24 with an awesome performance of his song, “Drink You Away.” The song’s catchy chorus and hint of country twang was a really successful fusion for Justin!
Justin Timberlake Performance At AMAs — JT Plays ‘Drink You Away’
Justin kept his fans guessing by not releasing his set list ahead of the AMAs — but we’re so glad that he decided on performing “Drink You Away!” His introduction to the song was so funny, he won over the crowd before playing a single note!
“Hi, I’m Justin Timberlake, and this is a song about alcohol,” he told the audience before jumping into the song. It seemed self-explanatory, but Justin blew everyone away with his amazing vocals.
Justin filled up the stage with his talented band who joined in on harmonizing with their own guitars. The sound is definitely a new one for JT, but the song showcases his cool fusion of musical and personal influences!
Justin Timberlake Takes Home Award At 2013 AMAs
Justin looked so dapper for his performance at the award show — all dressed up in his suit and tie, of course! He ditched his bow-tie for his steamy song, but he still looked so handsome!
Before taking the stage for his performance, he took home the award for the Favorite Pop/Rock Male. He definitely proved the fans right with his impressive performance!
