Kanye revealed that North is now the driving force behind his quest for success. In a new interview on ‘Ellen’, Kanye explained that his little girl keeps him focused and gives him added motivation to get his artistic message out into the world.
Kanye West has a mind that races a mile a minute, but he said that his 5-month-old daughter North West has completely changed the way he focuses! Even when he puts out risqué music videos with Kim Kardashian and raps shocking lyrics, Kanye is always thinking of his daughter’s best interests, he told Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show on her Nov. 19 episode.
Kanye West Tells Ellen Baby North West Keeps Him ‘Super Focused’
Ellen asked Kanye how being a new parent has changed his outlook on his life, because parenthood changes everything.
“Just being super focused,” Kanye answered. He said that he is “even more determined to get these ideas … across” which will help him “establish the exact foundation I want for my family.”

Ellen also chastised Kanye for the profanity in the lyrics of his new album, jokingly telling him that he should have his “mouth washed out with soap!” Though his precious little girl has softened his heart, Kanye explained that he does not feel his music will change — or should — since the arrival of his baby.
“No I’m not as concerned with the idea of profanity or nudity its more the messaging behind it,” Kanye explained. “She’s going to be in the real world, so she’s going to hear things and see things. I think she’s gotta be prepared for that.”
