Fresh off her amazing performance at the MTV EMAs, Katy Perry is back and as glamorous as ever in her newly released video for ‘Unconditionally.’ She debuted her powerful ballad Nov. 19 on MTV, then sat down with Iggy Azalea for a one-on-one interview.
Katy Perry, 29, has never exactly been a wallflower, but “Unconditionally” takes things to a whole new level. Set in a Gatsby-esque party, Katy dons a gorgeous gold dress in a video that focuses on “beauty and glamour and gorgeous shots.”
‘Unconditionally’: Love Hits You Like A Car
Before its Nov. 19 (at exactly 7:53 p.m. EST, natch) debut, Katy told MTV that she wanted to create less of a story for her “Unconditionally” video. Unlike “Roar,” her newest offering is all about the look, but she still wanted to include that crazy bit where she gets hit by a car. Because according to Katy, that’s what falling in love feels like â€" being flattened like a pancake by a Range Rover.

“Unconditionally”: How Does It Stack Up To The Rest?
Katy definitely knew that she had a lot to live up to after “Roar,” and we certainly think that “Unconditionally” is worth the hype (and the MTV special.) Katy looks classy and elegant, and the glamorous party setting has us aching to pop open some bottles of bubbly.
